International Association of Chiefs of Police: print campaign
IACP was bringing its annual Police Chief conference to Minneapolis and needed materials to promote the event at the previous year’s conference. The badge is a very powerful image and we used that as the vehicle for our cheeky headlines. These ads/poster were then displayed at the previous year’s event. A brochure was also used to promote the event and all the activities attendee’s could do while in Minneapolis. We wanted it to be fun so the brochure is laid out like the typical TV/movie police briefing we have all seen. We got approval to use the current chief’s image and leverage some humorous police stereotypes. A map was included in the brochure with push pins calling out the local sites, including the best donut shops in the city.
